What is required for admission to the first grade?
For admission, the child has an interview with a psychologist to assess readiness for school, as well as diagnostic testing with a teacher. This helps us understand the child’s level of preparation and organise the learning process according to their individual needs.
Attending our kindergarten, especially the Pre-School preparatory group, provides solid preparation and guarantees a place in the first grade.
Do native speakers teach at your school?
Yes. At Educator International School, English is taught by both native speakers and highly qualified Ukrainian teachers.
What documents do students receive upon graduation from Educator International School?
After successfully passing the Cambridge program exams in Year 10, students receive an IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) — an international certificate of secondary education.
After Year 9, students receive a state certificate of basic secondary education, and after Year 11, a certificate of complete secondary education.
Is the Educator International School diploma recognised abroad?
Yes. Cambridge International certificates are recognized by universities and employers in more than 160 countries worldwide.
If a child has a Cambridge certificate, do they need to take the IELTS for university admission?
Yes. To confirm English proficiency, universities usually require an IELTS certificate or another internationally recognised test (e.g., TOEFL). A Cambridge IGCSE certificate is not sufficient, as it demonstrates academic knowledge but does not serve as an official language qualification.
